Astonished! Is about allowing God to "experience you" through your personal journey of faith. Whether through a bike trek across America, a devastating sickness, the building of a company, a suffering relationship with children, divorce, a prolonged spiritual wilderness, the bliss of a new marriage, or wherever you might be in your life, being Astonished! happens when we pull the veils of our hearts back and allow God in - more, and more, and more. My hope is that you would be inspired to embrace the idea of allowing God to experience you! That you would stop being down on you, and not ever allow anyone else to do so. I want to testify to you that God's love for you is way more than you can imagine in one million lifetimes, and right this moment, He is standing at the door way of your heart wanting to experience you! My advice: Let Him. It will be the beginning of you experiencing Him unlike ever before.

Written during the 2016 presidential elections which were one of the most difficult times of American politics, Poems for America faces off with the civil unrest that swept throughout the county. Americans experienced a deep unsettling divide of racism, ideology and political intolerance. All of this and the noticeable absence of statesmanship among most of our leaders. With the rise of mindsets coupled with the lack of civility, the reaction through our nation became a display of daily chaos. This manifested through riots, divisive words, and in some cases, it became deadly for many. Each poem confronts this low point in our nation with the hope to rekindle the simple power of mercy towards others as we we would want to be shown towards ourselves. On September 14, 2016 he wrote “America In Trouble”. He then followed with “Prayer as an American”. The poems continued to flow for 53 days straight!

Naked before God – words that express my heart, is a compilation of poems written during the contemplative times of when William stands before God. During these sacred moments, he unashamedly bares his heart before God and exposes himself to the unfathomable grace, love and understanding that God is so willing to show him. Suddenly – words that express his heart begin to flow! You will be blessed as you grasp the depth, yet simplicity, of these words. While many of these poems are borne out of William’s own experience, others are written after reflection upon the lives of both biblical characters and people that have cross his path.
