On April 11, 2026, I will have the honor of being presented as a debutante at the Columbia (MD) Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.’s 47th Annual Debutante Cotillion. This prestigious event highlights the achievements of young ladies and serves as an important fundraiser for the Chapter's Scholarship Program.
During my journey at Poolesville High School, I have shown a deep commitment to both academic excellence and community service. My contributions encompass active participation in the Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), engagement with the Black Student Union, serving as the Theater Stage Manager, and competing in the History Bowl. Additionally, I have embraced athletics as a member of the Poolesville Swim Team, as well as the flag football team, not to mention my role as a goalkeeper for both the PHS varsity soccer team and the FCGB club soccer team. My dedication to academics has been recognized with consistent placement on the honor roll since fifth grade, paving the way for my membership in both the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society.
At the Debutante Ball, each debutante will be celebrated with a commemorative book known as the Debutante Cotillion Souvenir Journal. This publication will showcase my personal profile, alongside heartfelt congratulations and well-wishes from family members, friends, and local businesses in celebration of this momentous occasion.
My parents and I are tasked with securing advertisements and patron listings for inclusion in the Souvenir Journal. These advertisements may consist of inspirational messages or promotion of private businesses. Your generous contribution will directly fund the scholarships awarded each year by the sorority. The total scholarship amount I receive will be determined by the overall funds raised through these ads and patronages. I would be truly grateful for your support through either an advertisement or a patron listing as part of this endeavor.

When submitting ads and patron information, kindly adhere to the instructions outlined in the agreement form and ensure all materials are sent back to me in the provided envelope by January 16, 2026.
