With Your Support We Did It! The Warrior Up Bunkhouse is complete from foundation to roof top. Now help us finish the job!

In just over two weeks in May a fantastic crew of volunteers pitched in and built the Warrior Up bunkhouse at the entrance to Unistoten traditional territory.You can see photos of the work here. Is that amazing or what? Then we returned in July to finish the interior including the bunk beds and all-important heat and power. Click here to see some of the work and crew from the second stage.

But it would not have been possible without the contributions of over 300 supporters like you from all across BC.

On behalf of everyone who is commtted to stopping the Enbridge tar sands pipeline and the Pacific Trails fracking project I thank you for your support. Your generous financial support made it possible.

Can you dig a little deeper?

Like all construction projects there are always unexpected costs. Some extra materials, tools and equipment were needed above what was budgeted. Like the excavator used for trenching for the foundation and utility lines; and the expense of bringing people and supplies to this crucial but remote location in the north of the province.

Why is completing this project so important?

The Unis’tot’en camp stands directly in the path of the proposed energy corridor across northern BC. As long as it stands, no pipelines can be built.

This is the frontline - this is where First Nations and allies are standing together right now - and you can be there with them.

Stephen Harper is expected to give Enbridge the green light just weeks from now - by the time you read this the decision may already be made. Now is the time to step up and show our determination to save BC from tar sands spills, the destruction of fracking and climate catastrophe.
