The Unist’ot’en Solidarity Brigade (USB) is a group of supporters based in BC’s Lower Mainland. We have been asked by the Clan Chiefs to help them uphold their responsibility to their ancestors and future generations to protect their un-ceded traditional territory.

As you will see from the stories, photos and videos on this page the Unist’ot’en Camp is strong and thriving. However, they are constantly under challenge. Their land in the foothills of the Kitimat Range stands between multiple bitumen and fracked gas pipeline projects and the port of Kitimat.

The checkpoint on their eastern border, where a forest service road crosses the Wedzin Kwah (Morice River) has so far kept pipeline crews from entering the territory by road. However, the companies continually attempt to land crews in the back country by helicopter in spite of numerous written and verbal warnings that they are trespassing.

Due to the generous support of supporters like you the Unist’ot’en now have a 4WD truck equipped with a snowplow. But funds are still needed for routine and ongoing maintenance as well as fuel.
