Since dedicating her life to this sport, Denetra won her first competition in November of 2016 after only 4 weeks of training.

By winning every competition she entered during her first 8 months as a body builder, Denetra earned prestigious recognition as an IFBB Pro.  This has never been done before, and she is more driven now than ever to extend her winning streak around the world.

On average, most fitness competitors earn their pro card after about 2-3 years of competing. Some never earn their pro card even after 7+ years of training. Denetra was able to achieve this goal in 9 months!

What is an IFBB Pro?

IFBB is the professional league which stands for the International Federation of Bodybuilders.  In order to receive a IFBB Pro card you have to place Top 3 at a National qualifying contest. Once that happens you have to win 1st place at one of the 7 “National Shows”. Meaning you have the beat the best of the best out of the country. Once you earn your IFBB Pro Card there is even more. If you place first in any of the IFBB Pro contests you automatically qualify to compete in Ms. Olympia. If you place between 2nd and 5th at a pro contest you will be rewarded points. At the end of the season, the top 25 athletes in the world with the most points qualify to compete in Ms. Olympia.

Denetra’s Plans For This Year

This year Denetra plans to do shows in Michigan, Iowa, Canada, Los Angeles, and even Italy. Her goal is to qualify for the biggest competition in this industry: Olympia.

She is a motivator and a role model and has a rapidly growing social media presence with more than 20,000 followers. Denetra wants to use and grow this influence to spread the message that a strong, confident woman with incredible sportsmanship has the perfect mindset to succeed in this industry.
