A New Beginning
Hello.
I’m here today because, after nearly seven years, I finally escaped with my little son from an abusive relationship.
For almost seven years, I lived in a toxic environment where violence was a daily reality. I endured physical, psychological, economic, and sexual abuse. I lived in constant fear — surviving day by day, just trying to protect myself and my child.
But one day, I realized that something had to change. I could no longer allow my son to grow up surrounded by pain and fear. I had to protect him — not only from being hurt, but from ever witnessing the violence I was living through.
So on April 16th, 2025, I made the most difficult and courageous decision of my life: I left.
I took my son, left everything behind — all our belongings, my past, my dreams — and chose to fight for our future.
Since then, I have tried to seek help from the state. I reached out for support, believing the system would protect us. But sadly, the state has turned its back on us. The court, instead of helping us, is working against us — making everything even harder, when all I want is safety and peace for my child.
Today, I ask for your help — not out of pity, but out of hope. We are starting from scratch, trying to rebuild our lives. We are creating a new home, one free from violence and fear — a home where my son can feel safe, sleep peacefully, and dream freely.
