Avery was attacked by police and arrested protecting the Umojafest peace center, she is now the third highschool student of color to be targeted by the Seattle police department in recent protests, and the second trans-student of color.
Avery is incredibly loved at her highschool. She is known as being extremely kind and giving.

We need to support those most affected by Racsim and trans-misogny especially those already in the streets fighting oppression!!!
