Imagine having to walk five miles one way, per day, just to be able to bathe and drink water. Imagine having to feed your children the same water that cows and goats drank out of. 

This is the life of my friend, Alais, whose village I got to visit while on an African Safari trip with my family about 14 years ago. 

This amazing friend and I have kept in touch all these years, and just recently we realized we were a match: I wanted to do a humanitarian something in the world, and his village was in desperate need of clean water.

The solution is simple: hire an experienced local team to build a solar-powered water pump and system in close proximity to the village, so that women don't have to walk miles and carry water, children don't have to miss school to obtain water, and the water is clean. 

The only problem is, the money. It costs about $11,000-$13,000 USD to fund this kind of a project. 

What's already been done: I have contracted with a reputable non-profit organization here in the US that is honest and listed with our government (if you want to check it out, it's here. Our rep is Robert (Bob) Lange) They are legit and have the paperwork to back it up. Alais and I (and my friend Robyn from Canada who has expertise in fundraising and non-profit work) have found a reputable local water-system builder there in Tanzania. 

The only thing that is left that's needed is literally just the money to make it happen. That's where you come in.

Your money will literally give this village clean water. It will prevent injury to women--because some of the women in this village have been permanently maimed from the weight of carrying water for miles and miles ***daily***.

You will literally take burden from their backs. 

Your donation will also allow the children of this village to NOT have to leave school to go get water. More learning for them, means more opportunity for the next generation. 

And finally, since water is one main reason you live and breathe - and CLEAN water and adequate hydration is a main reason you are successful and have the foundation of health that you have today -- donating money so that these people can have water is your way of giving back to your mother...Mother Earth. 

Water holds memory. I believe you will be rewarded energetically from Universe for the water you help make possible in this very real village I have been to and seen with my own eyes, in Ormeleleki, Tanzania, Africa.

WHAT YOU WILL GET: 

You will get to literally watch these people drink clean water for the first time. Alais is going to send us video footage and updates of the construction of the water system, and the people being able to drink this sustainable water for the first time. 

We are not going to ask for extra money so we can make you t-shirts or other gifts. Your gift is the energetic exchange of knowing you gave when and what you could... you can't beat that. 

However, I will donate a free spot in my postpartum coaching group to any postpartum mom, and a free private coaching session to any donors that would like one, if they donate $150 or more.

WHERE WILL YOUR MONEY GO/WHAT EXACTLY IS IT BEING USED FOR:

Robyn and I will collect up to $13,000 on this platform, Fundrazr. Fundrazr does not ask for a fee, only a donation. We will donate $200 to Fundrazr as a thank you for making it possible for us to launch this non-profit campaign.

Then, we will transfer this money to our chosen, vetted and reputable non-profit, International Collaborative. They charge approximately $250 to cover their bookkeeping costs, wiring fees and government fees.

From their dedicated checking account for our project, they will securely transfer only what is reliably needed from our chosen contractors to build the water system itself. Any other extra funds will be set aside for continued maintenance of the water system so it lasts for generations!
