Meet Jack: a sweet, affectionate, and resilient 20-year-old cat who has been a loving companion for two decades. Jack is facing a dental crisis: he has a loose lower tooth painfully bent out of place that urgently needs to be removed. Along with this, he needs general dental care to keep him eating, comfortable, and alive.
Jack’s
caretaker, Rev, is a disabled individual who already stretches every
dollar to cover out-of-pocket medical costs and seizure care, plus
prescription food for Jack. While they've done everything possible to
care for Jack’s needs, this urgent dental procedure is far beyond
their financial means.
The revised minimum estimate for Jack’s treatment is $1600-1800. This includes tooth removal, cleaning, and necessary supportive care. Jack cannot wait! Every day without treatment puts him at risk of losing his ability to eat and serious infection.
