------------------------------
This fund-raising effort is to support the return of a WWII Veteran to the battlfields where he served. The remembrance trip is sponsored and organized by the board conducting the Dead Man's Ridge Walk as a fund-raiser to bring 17th Airborne veterans back to Belgium.
The board of the DMRW is campaigning again this year to raise funds to help with travel expenses for this year's honored veteran, Charles Davis (517th Airborne Signal Company – 17th Airborne Division). During his trip, Charles will also represent his twin brother Albert, who also served in the 517th. Albert isn't able to attend the trip because of his health.
The money raised with this effort will go directly to help
offset travel expenses - to put our vet in a comfy seat (because of
his honorable age) as he makes his long trek back to Belgium,
Germany...and then safely home.
We have secured the three accommodations and airline
reservations for the trip in March of 2017, so don't wait - please
support this trip with your contribution now.

It's more than a cause - it's a deserved Thank You to these vets. You can be proud to be part of something very special that gives them joy and shows them honor.
