Hi, I'm Joshua Cousin known to my friends as Book. I'm a blogger, and
photographer from New Orleans, Notable for creating video content for
our regional marching band community. I've covered major and minor
events for well over a decade. As of late, I've been unable to create
quality content due to malfunctioning equipment.
I've had a Canon Rebel T2i since 2011, Recording video with it officially since 2012. Long before owning a DSLR, I've owned Multiple Cameras and Camcorders which have all eventually failed on me, causing me to purchase upgrades to keep up with a growing community of videographers. This time around, my Canon T2i has run its course. After years of wear and tear, I can no longer capture audio on the device. I've always used an external condenser mic. Unfortunately, The mic input is no longer functioning. These days, I only use the T2i to take pictures.
Why I'm asking for $2,300
I'm currently working on a film project without the
tools to capture decent footage.
Though I've made strides to
purchase needed gadgets, I don't have a budget to make this film
happen.
I'd love to get back to creating quality videos
for our marching band community. I'd be ever so grateful if you all
can help with purchasing suitable equipment.
