Young adults are leaving the Church in droves. But there is hope in Jesus! Join with me in a project to help people follow Jesus purposefully and wholeheartedly.
Two Paths provides a biblical map to find the best trail, stay on it, and experience a fantastic journey with Jesus. Inspiring, true-life stories and solid biblical teaching will encourage readers to make choices that bring true joy and success, regardless of circumstances.

How it Started
This book came from a compilation of personal stories and bibilical teachings initially written for my (then-teenage) children. I hoped that these would help guide them to make wise choices as they approached adulthood. They loved the material and encouraged me to make it widely available, so I rewrote the book, making it more concise and accessible. Although the focus shifted to a more diverse audience, the heart of a father remained at the center of it.
My 2018 book on Christian Camp Leadership, Pillow Fights & Sleepless Nights, was self-published, but this time I decided to take the plunge and work with a professional publishing team, Word Alive Press. This, of course, has resulted in a much larger financial investment, which I am hoping to partially regain in pre-sales of the book.

The Need
This project has taken over three years and countless hours, and I'm spending about $7,000.00 out-of-pocket to produce it. Word Alive Press is working with me to professionally produce the book and ensure this project gets good marketing traction. It will be available in brick-and-mortar bookstores across North America and online worldwide.
This monetary investment I have made so far includes:
- Final editing
- Book cover artwork (front and back)
- Formatting and layout for print and digital copies
- Book printing (300 to start)
- Marketing support
- Distribution to bookstores throughout North America
The Goal
My goal is to raise $7,000 to cover these costs and to get many books into the hands of people who will enjoy the book and recommend it to others. This does not provide me any payment for producing the book (though if the book does exceptionally well, some royalities will eventually come my way).
