Swing Shift Big Band needs your help to fund our 9 th album.

We are really excited about this new recording and can’t wait to get in the studio. It’s going to be a dynamic album featuring all new original arrangements and a full string section with Fr. Horns.

While this project is partially funded by a number of our band members, recording is expensive. Now, we need our friends and fans to get involved.

Swing Shift has suffered the same fate as all live music acts over the last two years. With no engagements, we've had no income. Your generous support will help make this album a reality.

With your donation, we will give back to you. We have rewards for all sponsors, ranging from invitations to our CD launch to attending our Studio sessions as Executive Producer on this CD.

About Swing Shift

Swing Shift Big Band was created in 1996 to preserve the sounds and energy of the big band era and has just celebrated 25 years entertaining audiences of all ages and backgrounds. With a core of 19 talented musicians and fantastic guest vocalists and musicians, Swing Shift has become one of the top rated big bands not only in Ontario, but all of Canada.

Led by Jim John, the band is honoured to have performed at most major venues in the Toronto and SW Ontario area. Theatre shows are the latest addition to the many types of presentations put on by this versatile and talented band, including “A Tribute to Frank Sinatra”, “A Tribute to Count Basie”, “A Tribute to Glenn Miller”, and more. The band’s music is played worldwide, and music downloads from around the world show people’s enjoyment of Swing Shift recordings.
