“A Bag of Love and Kindness for families in Mwanza Tanzania”
Hello Everyone,
I am Sheeryn.
I’m Asian by birth,
I’m Australian by
choice,
I’m European by taste and
His Kingdom is my culture.
I am currently in Africa in Mwanza Tanzania, I came here to partner with an organisation to serve and help the community, however, due to the chaos that is happening globally, the COVID-19, all the facilities under the organisation had to shut their doors to comply with the safety policies and regulations of the local government. So, technically there is no work for me under them.
I attempted to go back home last month, however, my flight has been cancelled by the airline company and now I am stuck here in Mwanza more likely for another month. I believe there is a reason for that event, so, while waiting for the borders to open and let the virus settle down, I have decided to do something for the community as an individual, a personal project to use my time wisely, serve God and serve His people in my own little way.
April, most of you know that this is my birth month, I did not celebrate my big day with a cake, food, music and balloons, I will then celebrate my birthday here in a more valuable and meaningful way. In saying that, I need your help and I am asking for your support to make this project happen, please.
My project is to prepare and pack a “Bag of Love and Kindness” then distribute it to 100 families in Mwanza Tanzania.
What’s in the bag?
2 kgs of rice
1 kg of beans
1 kg of flour

packets of biscuits
2 tinned goods
1 packet of kids

1 packet of kids toys
2 packets of noodles

packet of sugar
Perhaps you are struggling and have been directly impacted by Covid19, you probably lost your job but if we come to think of it and change our perspective, this is just a season in our lives. Perhaps once in a lifetime struggle, guess what? The people here in Mwanza, that’s their norm. The struggle is real every single day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, we have choices, they don’t.
And if you are a citizen of a wealthy first world country, the government can actually support you financially and provide you with food, bills assistance, accommodation, health and hospital assistance. The people here in Tanzania and most developing countries, they don’t have those benefits and privileges.
My dear friends and family, I know that you love me so much, so please support me with this project, you are directly helping the families of Tanzania by providing meals on their table even for a few days.

Fundraising Note:
FundRazr has three payment processors available: PayPal, WePay, and
Stripe. Regardless of which one you choose, the payment processing fee
will be the same: 2.9% + $0.30 per payment.
For example, when you
donate $100, the payment processing fee would come to $3.20 (2.9% of
the total plus $0.30).
I will cover the fees deducted by the crowdfunding site (FundRazr) and all the admin fees including petrol and ATM international withdrawal transaction fees so that the total amount you donated will go 100% to the families.
