As a Customer Advocacy professional you need a space to ask questions, get helpful and accurate advice, and learn from others in the space.
In June 2022, I (Mary Green) started weekly meetup calls on zoom to discuss important topics in the Customer Advocacy and Marketing space. We discussed CABs, communities, reference programs, customer reviews, gifting platforms, advocacy platforms, and managing internal issues.
Hundreds of Customer Advocacy and Marketing professionals started following our meetups, watching the recordings, and reading the newsletter.
By December, I opened the CMAweekly Slack and invited readers and listeners to participate in discussion every day.
1.5 years later we've created over 130,000 messages on Slack.
We've had over 100 hours of calls between weekly meetups and topic discussion calls.
And, we have over 2000 subscribers across our Newsletter and LinkedIn newsletter.
Today we have 976 Slack members.
But, for 2 years, it's been tough to create and manage a community in
a space that took a hard hit with layoffs. It's been tough to find
work myself and earlier this month I posted the community for sale.
Between finances and family responsibilities, it's become too much to
continue running the community.
Now, I did have a fantastic sponsor for 6 months, but without additional vendors and contributors, I can't continue without selling.
As I'm waiting for offers to come in on selling the community, a vendor suggested offering several vendors the option to sponsor the community to keep it agnostic & independent.
That's where we are today 😁. Vendors, Software Platforms, Agencies, and Capable Members, please join this campaign to secure the community for 1 year.
