Hey y'all, it's Justine. Bryan, my partner of 8 years, desperately needs your help.

• He's in danger of losing his home.
  He's behind on his taxes, and he's in the danger zone of the building being auctioned by the City.
  
• He's taken hit after hit.
  Just in the last 5 years: 
  January 2020 he was attacked by a dog, leaving him unable to work, and with mental and physical longterm impacts.
  March 2020 he had recovered enough to return to work.
  Two weeks later, COVID hit and he was laid off.
  From December 2020 until now, he's been working as a delivery driver to make ends meet.
  Over that time, he's been faced with thousands of dollars in car repairs, and developed debilitating sciatica which periodically leaves him unable to drive or walk, and therefore unable to work.
  He was then hit with three COVID infections in the last 4 months, despite us taking precautions.
• We need our community's support to keep a roof over Bryan's head.
  Bryan desperately wants to work. He is working with pain management doctors to treat his sciatica, and working every time his body allows him to. But he's terrified that he will lose his building before he is well enough to earn the money he needs to save his home.
• Bryan would give anyone the shirt off his back.
  Pre-pandemic, he organized and hosted numerous fundraising concerts for everything from the Stockley protest bail fund to new dentures for a friend, helped move multiple women and families out of dangerous living situations on a moment's notice, and is always willing to pull over to help someone on the side of the road whether they're having car troubles or an overdose.
• I desperately want to help this generous loving human keep the home that he's worked so hard for over the years, and shared with so many people.
  I know he will do so again someday, if we help him keep it.
