Tank has been held prisoner at Vernon, NJ animal control 07462, since September 2017, when dad opened the door. Tank ran into a neighbor's yard. Neighbor, who has 5 dogs, grabbed Tank's neck from behind. Terrified, Tank nipped him, and he's been sleeping on a concrete floor ever since. The shelter will not even give him a blanket.

Tank is on death row.

Tank's mom has stage 3 colon cancer, so I'm helping the family.

Tank's family needs to fundraise to make changes to his home.
Our police chief said that grabbing a dog's neck from behind is provocation. Yet, Tank cannot come home until NJ dog bite legislative rules are met. Any and all money raised will help to install 6' fencing, to install a padlock, to buy a million dollar liability insurance policy, to install a concrete dog run, to install a cage, to buy a muzzle which Tank needs now, due to laws, at all times, to pay for a trainer at Tank's home, and to tattoo his body.

Tank was NOT deemed aggressive by the courts. 
Shelter manager, Mr. Epperly. would not allow me to give Tank a crate-bed that I purchased. Tank sleeps on concrete. The lawyer we hired told me it is because a dog at the shelter choked on his bed. I'm embarrassed to live in Vernon when I visit the shelter.

There is two lawsuits in litigation, one against the township of Vernon itself, according to lawyer John McDermott. 
Although NJ deems it necessary to pour concrete, despite it being winter time ~ no one, not Epperly nor the police, who recently took over animal control, knows what size we need to pour. I wasted a week waiting to hear that so I can quote a price to you. 
Our veterinarians don't know how to tattoo a dog, so we're out of luck on that requirement.
Tank has a large cyst on his leg, which may be why manager was hostile to owner and her daughter, refusing family visitation. Vernon police chief, Randy Mills, stated that he wants nothing more than to get Tank home.

But, family does not have the money to do all the work to Tank's house. He's just sitting, alone, confused and scared, in a shelter where he has no bed, exercise, or human interaction.

Tank's mom, Debbie Gonzales Schwadtke, went to court with internal bleeding and an IV drip to appeal to the judge to help Tank get home. The judge refused.  Tank's family is devastated. His little people cry each night.

We are stuck. Tank will be killed in 27 days if we cannot change his entire home.
