All of us have at least one thing in common, Our Passion for Kart Racing.

Together, we are creating a karting website that will provide:

• Local track directories
• Track racing schedules 
• Local club news and event updates
• Technical rule updates
• Karting forum focusing on local kart racers
• Free Karting Classifieds
• We are building a true online local karting community

Q:   Why are we asking for funding?

A1:  Our focus is the karter, and we want to build the right website from the ground up.  We are designing a site and community atmosphere that will survive long term.

A2:  One of our websites UVP (unique value proposition) is to focus on the content and provide a clean and simple format for our visitors.  After all, we are promoting the sport and making the information more accessible.  We do not want to clutter our web space with advertisements.  Our advertisers will be valued supporters of our site, not just another Flash Logo Button on the sidebar.

Q:   What are you spending my money on?

A1: Our website will be free to all users.

A2:  We have already contracted with a web design and service company that will host our pages on a new state of the art server system.  This will cost us a monthly fee.  This site has to generate income in order to ensure the long term survival for all of our kart racers, present and future.

A3:  Promotion, promotion, promotion.  We are reaching out to all kart racing track facilities in the Northern California region.  We want to encourage the involvement of all tracks and the racers.  Thousands of miles will be driven to reach all of these tracks to promote our website.  We have also contracted with a design expert for our webpage and soon to be released logo.  And finally, we have contracted with a printer to supply flyers and handouts that will be distributed to the karting community. 

A4:  We are building Northern California's #1 Website for All Info Karting.  Again, we need this site to be a long term investment for our fellow kart racers.  Donations will make this happen.

A5:  Planning ahead to 2017, NorCal Karters would like to host a NorCal Karters Expo.  Funds will be used to promote and host this Expo.

A6:  Planning ahead to 2017, NorCal Karters will host training seminars and special track days.  Many of the special guests that will offer their time and knowledge charge a fee.  We believe it is essential to educate our community, and your founding donation will help make this happen.

A7:  We are also designing NorCal Karters apparel, and many of the set up fees and design costs are up front.

To summarize, we want to promote Northern California for the long term.  We want to make this effort durable.  In order to maintain long term durability, we will require supporting funds.
