We hope this letter finds you well.
As many of you know, our daughter, Mackenzie Meeks, has dedicated countless hours over the years to the sport of gymnastics. Through hard work, discipline, perseverance, and faith, she has achieved tremendous success, including becoming:
- A Georgia State Champion
- Regional Champion
- Top-4 finish at Eastern Nationals
- Level 10 National qualifier
- Top 7 on vault in the Nation.
Like many elite youth sports, gymnastics requires a substantial financial commitment. Annual expenses include:
- Private coaching
- Training
- Travel
- Meet entry fees
- Uniforms
- Camps, and other related costs.
The estimated cost of Mackenzie’s upcoming season is approximately $15,000.
We are reaching out to family, friends, and local business owners to ask for your support. Whether you choose to contribute personally or connect us with a business that may be interested in sponsoring a dedicated young athlete, every contribution makes a difference.
For business owners, sponsorships may also provide potential tax benefits as a charitable or marketing expense. We encourage you to consult your tax professional regarding your specific situation.
- Our fundraising goal is to raise sponsorship support by July 15th to help prepare for the upcoming season.
If Mackenzie’s journey has inspired you, and you would like to support her pursuit of excellence, we would be incredibly grateful for any contribution, regardless of the amount.
Most importantly, we appreciate your prayers, encouragement, and belief in her dreams. Thank you for being part of her village and helping her continue to chase her goals.
With gratitude,
Tray & Christy Joy Meeks

A New Chapter Begins
This summer, Mackenzie stood on the national stage for the very first time as a Level 10 gymnast.
At just 12 years old, in her first year competing at Level 10, she qualified for Nationals and finished Top 7 in the nation on vault — an accomplishment that represented years of work, sacrifice, and belief.
But what moved us most wasn’t just the result.
It was what happened afterward.
Instead of coming home satisfied, Mackenzie came home more focused, more driven, and more determined than ever. Competing alongside some of the best gymnasts in the country gave her a clearer vision of what is possible. It did not make her feel finished — it made her hungry to grow.
For Mackenzie, Nationals was not the end of a journey.
It was the beginning of a new one.
She has now set her sights on returning next season stronger than ever, with the goal of competing for a Top 3 All-Around finish at Nationals .
To pursue that dream, Mackenzie made the difficult decision to step away from the gym she had called home for years and begin training in a new environment at Gymnastix Training Center in Buford, Georgia . This new chapter has required courage, maturity, and a willingness to embrace change in pursuit of growth.
For the past nine years, gymnastics has been more than a sport to Mackenzie. It has helped shape her character, teaching her discipline, perseverance, resilience, courage, and faith. We have watched her rise before dawn, push through setbacks, overcome fears, and continue to show up with determination and joy.
We have seen the parts of the journey most people never see — the long drives, the sore muscles, the tears, the quiet victories, and the daily commitment required to pursue excellence.
This upcoming season represents a new level of opportunity, growth, and commitment. As Mackenzie continues working toward her goals, we are grateful for every person who chooses to encourage her, pray for her, support her, and believe in the story she is still writing.
Thank you for cheering her on and being part of this next chapter.
With gratitude,
The Meeks Family
