Jacob Youngs is an extraordinary kid with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity knocking at his door. Let's help him open that door...
In June of 2025, Jacob has an opportunity to fly to New York and play on stage at Carnegie Hall in front of a live audience.
If you don't already know my son, allow me to introduce you:
As a 4.3 GPA honor student, Jacob has shown an impeccable work ethic when it comes to his education. He has big plans for college, and desires to continue his pursuit and love of music by eventually acquiring a degree in music education and becoming a jazz instructor or band director.
I believe in him, and honestly, so should you. This kid is one of those special ones who never has to be told to get his work done. I never have to remind him to handle his educational responsibilities. He just gets it done, and he gets it done well. With this opportunity to go to New York and play at Carnegie Hall, I see it as a great way to reward him for his years of hard work and dedication not just to school, but also to his music education. Jacob picked up the trumpet in 5th grade and hasn't put it down since. He knows the value of practice, and trust me, the rest of the house can hear his dedication to it as well. (The Trumpet isn't necessarily a quiet instrument...) He has been a member of the Clovis High Marching Band since his Freshman year and functions in a leadership role. His biggest passion is Jazz music. He is also in the top Jazz band at Clovis High and has been selected to perform with numerous honor bands throughout the years. When I say this kid loves music, I truly mean it. And this opportunity is one I just can't allow him to pass up.
Bottom line: I gotta do everything in my power to help get him on that plane and in that Hall.
But I'll be honest, it ain't cheap!!
