Help Tim Underwood Beat Aggressive Cancer

My name is Emily, and I’m writing this with tears in my eyes and fire in my heart — because my dad, Tim Underwood, needs our help.

He’s been diagnosed with late-stage, rare colorectal cancer that has metastasized a lot. He was in deep pain for months as doctors unfortunately stood by and did nothing, and so all of this has progressed very fast since diagnosis.

And he's not thrilled to be asking for money...

But the truth is, this is a critical moment and so we’re fighting for his life, pride aside.

If you know my dad, you love him.

He’s a devoted husband, father, Poppy (grandfather), uncle, great-uncle, son, friend, former neighborhood dad (now that we're grown), and employee who gives his all — day in and day out — to provide, protect, make sure everyone knows they are loved, and keep the laughs going.

He’s the kind of man every dog and baby adores (probably because he’s a big kid himself). He’s a die-hard Ravens fan, a “grill master,” and the guy who can turn anything into an art project or toy for the kids.

He's also my protector and shoulder to cry on. The man I watched stand up for what’s right time and time again. As a single Dad, he showed up to every game and worked every side job so we were taken care of.

He’s the kind of man who makes it easy to be a Daddy’s girl.

It’s not his time.

He hasn’t walked me down the aisle yet.
He hasn’t held his grandbabies from me or my brother.

There is so much life left in this man — and he’s ready to fight for it.

P.S. We've never done something like this, so even though I give regularly to gofundme's, it's and odd and humbling experience to ask for money from friends and strangers alike.  The amount we are raising is based on my research on treatments and life expenses over the next 6-12 months of my Dad's recovery (and double-checked by AI and with our integrative doctor) minus $15k.  That being said, if we come into possible miracles of money or healing we will look into returning the money or donating directly to another family in need.

A Prayer for Tim Underwood's Healing

Heavenly Father, Divine Healer and Source of all life, We come before You with open hearts and steadfast faith, lifting up my dad — Your beloved son — into Your light.

You know every cell in his body, every ache in his bones, every burden he has carried. You see the pain. You see the fight in his spirit. And You see the powerful healing that is already being set in motion.

Lord, we ask for a supernatural healing — one that defies prognosis and restores him beyond all expectation. We ask that You divinely target and dissolve every trace of cancer in his bones. Let the places where pain once lived now be flooded with strength, vitality, and regeneration. Replace the lesions and damage with fresh, healthy bone marrow — filled with new life and divine energy.

We now speak directly to the lymphatic system — the river of protection through his body — and we command all blockages, tumors, and malignancies to shrink now in the name of Jesus. Let every lymph node be restored to its natural, healthy function. Let the cancer retreat, shrink, and vanish — until there is no trace left to find.

We ask for the complete reversal of this disease. That it shrinks to undetectable levels. That his body returns to perfect balance. That his pain lifts. That his spirit is renewed.

God, let Your healing hand guide every treatment, every supplement, every breath of oxygen, every drop of healing water. Let Your angels stand guard around him. Let peace fill the room he sleeps in, and let light enter every dark place in his body and mind.

Give him strength for this journey. Give him faith that does not shake. And surround him with people, resources, and miracles that support his full return to radiant health.

We declare that this is not the end — it is the beginning of a powerful testimony. We believe in Your timing, Your mercy, and Your miracle-working power.
