INTRODUCTION

Hey everyone, this fund is for my dear friend Martin. He is an NYC based photographer who pushes the limits in his art. He picked up a camera in 2013 as a hobby and discovered his passion. From there, he went into freelance photography.

Photography is where he dedicated his heart and time into developing his career in and Martin’s photos show us viewers unique views of cities such as New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago! His art has also taken him to photograph the Pacific Northwest along with 5 national parks and even abroad traveling to Dubai last year! He is being prosecuted for climbing the Benjamin Franklin Bridge that links NJ and Pennsylvania to take photos of the beautiful cities and its views. Martin urgently needs the support of our community before his trial begins on September 13th. Please help this artist from incarceration!

MISSION

Our goal is to raise enough funds to help Martin with his legal fees. He is currently facing 3 felony charges and his trial is set for Sept. 13. Martin has found a lawyer but has yet to retain him because he can’t afford him on his own. Without a proper lawyer and defense plan, Martin could be facing prison time.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Help keep Martin from being incarcerated. A monetary donation of any amount towards his defense will quickly add-up for the expensive legal justice fees. Whether it’s $1 or $1,000, it’ll be a gift that will be appreciated by Martin, his family, and our community.

GENERAL

He started photographing in 2013, and he discovered a new world from behind the lens of his camera. His senses were enhanced through it, as he picked up every subtle detail that the rest of us view as inanimate. For him, it was as though his world was once filled with shades of gray and through his art, he discovered its vibrant hues of colors in every corner he once over looked.

Since his discovery, he has embraced every opportunity to explore through cities. He focused on capturing the formidable cities from unique and rare vantage points. His goal was to showcase the beauty of the world he sees through his lenses, through his art.

He once told me, "My purpose is to inspire people to see this city of mine through a different set of eyes. To help push them to chase after their dreams. Every low has its own strength and beauty. Every height can be reached."

Photography is a way of communication and expression. Sharing each and every captured moment as an art form and tool to create connections around the world. 

Martin is an amazing and inspiring individual and his sole purpose was to chase his vision and add beauty to this world. I want to help him from being persecuted and incarcerated because I believe in his vision in pushing us to our limits and connecting us as a community.
