We are very very close to having the shelter fully registered. The Government already gave it the official new name and Freedom Shelter has now become The Heart of Life!!!
The biggest problem of all that no other support is being given from the government and money are desperately needed every day to run the shelters and keep the dogs fed and looked after.
Hoda is doing an incredible job. But she lives in a constant state of anxiety... worrying every day what to feed the dogs the next!
Over 500 dogs means at least 300kg of food is needed each day!
Not only this, but the shelter is built on a rented land, and workers inside the shelter also need to get paid for the amazing work they doo.
We need around $1500 to pay another month's rent and salaries.
