I have spent the last decade doing one thing in politics: building the Texas Democratic Party in places where it is hard.

I cut my political teeth organizing in one of the most conservative Congressional Districts in the country. I led a rural county party and a statewide youth movement. I helped a progressive State Representative pass legislation in the Texas House without compromising her values. Now, I am  focused entirely on CD 31 and am asking for the chance to continue using that experience to work for every Democrat in Bell, Burnet, Coryell, Hamilton, Lampasas, Mills, and Williamson counties.

As your SDEC member, I will partner with each of CD 31's seven counties to recruit and train Party leadership, establish a legislative advocacy team so our voices are heard at the Capitol, and serve as a consistent resource to keep our community informed and connected. After five years on the state party's governing board, I know the members, I know the rules, and I know how to move things forward for CD 31.

It is a privilege to bring that work home. Thank you for your support. Together, we can build the Party CD 31 deserves.
