I am looking for fellow human beans to help me reach a significant goal in my life. I will give you a brief story to let you know where I am coming from and how you could help.

I am a 58-year-old single mother to my daughter, Annalysa. It was her and I together while she was growing up.

I began working when I was 10 (babysitting, crazy right?). I have had various roles through the years, including my first “real” job at K-Mart. I was a cook at a state college for 8 years. I started as a claims processor for a health insurance company, then took on a role as a software engineer. I was in my last position as a software engineer for 18 years. I hold two associate degrees, one in Paralegal studies and the other in IT Software Design.

I have had progressive hearing issues since childhood that have gotten worse over the years. I am now legally deaf. In 2019 my doctor diagnosed me with macular degeneration, which eventually causes blindness. In January of 2025, I received a diagnosis of stage 3 of kidney failure.

In 2020, I left my employment due to macular degeneration. This has made it too difficult to work on computers. When I left my job in Jan of 2020, the world quickly became a crazy place, (remember that?). I applied for Social Security disability, but it took over 2 years to get approved. During that time, I lost everything, my home and vehicle, I fell behind on all my bills. It has been a struggle trying to recover, my credit is in complete ruins. I am working on that with the help of a legal group. Unfortunately, I do not get much from disability payments. I am keeping up with my current bills, but past items have been on hold.

I have a love for life, and I am not giving up! I have so many good years left and want to take advantage of that time.

What am I trying to achieve with your help?

There are two options for which I am hoping. The first is to find someone that may have what I am looking for and that they would be willing to donate them to me. Second, raise enough money to purchase them myself.

What I would like is to get either a small RV. Or an SUV and a camper. I need both a vehicle and a place to live.

If there is any money left over, I would use that to get a service dog!!!
