This is difficult for me because I’m a very private person and I hate asking for help, but here goes. At the end of this year, I have a pretty now-or-never chance to finally get top surgery. I have a long break from school, and a clinic offered me a significant discount to participate in a program where they can use my photos as case examples for advertising. Even with that discount, it's still difficult to afford with our remaining savings. Logan is working, but he can only work part-time while in school, and I can't juggle working and the advanced-level study I need to do to get certified for work next year. Unfortunately, it can't be covered by insurance either.

If we don't take this opportunity now, that offer probably won't come back up again. Once I'm working, it'll be difficult to take a month off to recover, and it would take probably around 5 years to save up enough to afford it at full price. It's difficult for me to be this kind of selfish, but this is something that would make a huge difference in my daily life and vastly improve my mental health. I know my trans friends know how it feels, lol.

I know everyone is struggling right now, but if you can contribute anything at all, I'd be eternally grateful. Every dollar is worth about 60% more right now, so even a little will go a long way. I don't delude myself into thinking that this will get fully funded unless I get extremely lucky, but I've seen others succeed at it, so I'm (cautiously, reluctantly) putting myself out there. If you're unable to contribute, even just sharing this around would help a lot. The due date is early December, so it'll be up until then.
