My sister Leidy is 36 years old and lives with schizoaffective disorder and severe hormonal imbalance. Every month she needs medication, medical appointments and laboratory tests just to stay stable. Although she is covered by Colombia's public health system, many essential treatments are not fully covered and our family can no longer afford the growing costs.

My name is Magaly Chaves. I am Leidy's sister, a Business Administration student in Bogotá, and I am doing everything I can to keep her receiving the care she needs.
