Hello friends. This is my beloved 17+ year old kitty Biscuit who I adopted in 2014, after asking the rescue which cat had been there the longest. Buscuit is a purebred Manx who was dumped in the woods as a kitten because he has a cleft palate with a deformed face, which deemed him "worthless" to the greedy animal breeder.

He has always had chronic sinus issues, and is a little less intelligent due to his extreme inbreeding.

I addition to his early arthritis and sinus issues, he was diagnosed with irreversible kidney disease 2 years ago.

In the past two weeks his disease took a sudden turn for the worst, and he is suffering end stage kidney failure. He is completely lethargic, incontinent, and has not eaten for 4 days, not even Temptations treats. He has had a few sips of water, but loses strength to hold up his head. 

He no longer meows (previously a very vocal kitty) or purrs when I pet him,  and falls over when he he tries to stand up.

We have been making him as comfortable as possible, he has a homemade comfy bed on a heating pad which helps with his pains and arthritis, and when we noticed he wanted to feel hidden, we made a little house for him out of a cardboard box.

I hold him on my lap to make him feel loved, wrapped in a towel so he won't pee or poop on me, although he hasn't pooped since he stopped eating.

It is heartbreaking for us to face the fact that it's time to give him his humane and permanent relief from pain and suffering, but we do not have the funds to even do that.

By not being able to afford it, I don't mean we can't fit it into our budget, I mean we literally don't have the funds and it's causing so much stress and worry for us. 

I love my kitty so much and want to relieve him peacefully, before he starts vomiting blood, going into seizures, extreme pain, and starving/dehydrating to death, which will happen soon of we can't help him.
