Grace is a neurodivergent trans girl who faces imminent homelessness due to her transphobic parents not allowing her to express herself
Grace is an autistic trans girl from Pennsylvania that has faced tons of struggles that prevent her from functioning in society and is forced to live with her abusive family in order to have a roof over her head. She has reluctantly have had to endure so much berating and mental torture from her transphobic parents, despite the fact that she had felt like a girl since the earliest days of her childhood. Grace is an autistic trans girl from Pennsylvania who has had great difficulty functioning in society, and is forced to live with her abusive family in order to avoid homelessness. She has had to endure constant berating and mental torture from her transphobic parents, despite knowing she was a girl since early childhood.
Her current situation
Due to their inability to understand Grace's neurodivergence, her parents are currently forcing her to stay in a mental hospital against her will, and will likely throw her out of her household soon. Her dad had threatened her with the psych ward several times and has bragged that he will accuse her of being violent because nobody would believe her side of the story
This is where we are now....she has been in that institution for almost an entire week, without access to her HRT, without access to gender-affirming care like shaving. She is likely going to be out soon, but her parents are threatening to no longer house her.Although she is likely going to be out soon, her parents are threatening to throw her into the street as soon as she returns. Due to the threat of homelessness looming over her, I ask you to find the kindness in your hearts and help me relocate her to my town, where she can be safe and as far away from her abusive family as possible.
Our goals
Our current goal is to raise $1,800 to relocate her. This will cover transportation costs to move her personal belongings and herself to her new home. The rest will be used for a rent deposit and to cover the first month. She will begin to seek job opportunities after moving in to the neighborhood. She had experience in several fields, including customer service and security. She has ample opportunity to start life anew, but alas she needs a boost since she will have no money in her name after being kicked out of her parent's house.
