'Mom's Gone': Heartbreaking Stories Emerge from Ukraine as Russian Invasion Tears Families Apart
My Wife Kate and me decided to help families who come to our country (Hungary) from Ukraine. First times was so hard to see the childrens and thier parents mostly Women. They came exsaustedtired and dirty. some of them just travel 2 days long only with a small backpack, they had to left everything in thier house, clothes shoes kids playground. unfortunate situation but now weKate and me canhandle. We just trying to gave them all the things what they need. But now helping those families who already here. We have two small flat in city Budapest already gave families who decided to stay. Anyway they have to sleep in barracks and hostels. Now our plan rent a couple of house / Flat for at least half year or if it’s possible even more. We aren’t want any money for that we just help them with accommodation.
So thats the reason why we made this Foundation project. Give families parents Childrens a chance to start them life again from nothing.
We are not looking there relegion education or skin color, we are all HUMAN and we have to stay againts the war!

Thousands of Ukrainian citizens have fled their homes in the hours since Russia began invading the country early Thursday morning.
The conflict, which is still in its early stages, has led to more than lmost 5.4 million refugees have since left Ukrainians fleeing to neighboring countries such as Hungary and Poland, a United Nations official said Friday. About 7 million others are in need of food and other necessities.
Those who have not yet fled the country have been left the mourn the destruction of their homes and the loss of loved ones.
The U.N. has so far confirmed the deaths of at least 2,729 civilian deaths , primarily caused by airstrikes and shelling. Ukrainian officials said they've counted 137 dead and 316 others wounded from the first day of the attack.
In one heartbreaking instance, a man in the city of Horlivka, a city in eastern Ukraine that is controlled by pro-Russian rebels, was overheard telling a sibling about the death of their mother while her body lay outside a nearby home.
"Yes, Mom's gone, that's all," he was heard saying over a phone call, according to the Associated Press. "That's it, Mom's gone."
While speaking to the New York Times, 80-year-old Svetlana Lisytsina said she fled her home with her daughter and cat.

Feleségem, Kate, és én úgy döntöttünk, hogy segítünk azoknak a családoknak, akik Ukrajnából érkeznek hazánkba, Magyarországra. Az első időkben nehéz volt látni a gyerekeket és a szüleiket, főként a nőket. Fáradtak, kimerültek és piszkosak érkeztek. Egyesek csak egy kis hátizsákkal utaztak, és több napot töltöttek úton, mindenüket hátrahagyva: ruhákat, cipőket, gyerekjátékokat. Sajnos kiszolgáltatott helyzetben vannak, de Kate és én megpróbálunk mindent megadni nekik, amire szükségük van. Most pedig azoknak a családoknak próbálunk segíteni, akik már itt vannak. Két kis lakást adtunk már olyan családoknak Budapesten, akik úgy döntöttek, hogy itt maradnak. Addig azonban a szállókban és hajléktalan szállásokon kell aludniuk. Most az a tervünk, hogy béreljünk néhány házat/lakást legalább fél évre, vagy ha lehetséges, még tovább. Nem kérünk pénzt ezért, csak segítünk szállással.
Ezért hoztuk létre ezt az alapítványi projektet. Adjunk esélyt a családoknak, a szülőknek és a gyerekeknek, hogy újra kezdhessék az életüket semmiből.
Nem nézünk vallást, oktatást vagy bőrszínt, mindannyian EMBEREK vagyunk, és szembeszállnunk kell a háborúval!
A háború több ezer nőt, gyereket, időseket és fogyatékossággal élő embert hagyott szálláshoz jutás nélkül.
Több ezer ukrán állampolgár hagyta el otthonát azóta, hogy Oroszország csütörtök reggel kezdte meg az ország invázióját.
A konfliktus, ami még a kezdeti szakaszában tart, több mint 5,4 millió menekültet hozott létre, akik Ukrajnából szomszédos országokba, mint például Magyarországra és Lengyelországba, menekültek - mondta el egy ENSZ tisztségviselő pénteken. Körülbelül 7 millióan pedig élelmiszerre és más alapvető szükségletekre szorulnak.
