Hi!

My name is Masha Yakovenko. My birthday is June 3 and I've been working to help cats in Cyprus for the last year with a project called Cypaws. It is clear to me that TRAP-NEUTER-RETURN (TNR) of community cats will prevent a lot of suffering: sickness, preventable deaths, malnutrition, etc.

Over 500 means we can h ave a bit to cover neuterings ❤️

There are many plans, ideas, ideals... but right now... I am working with a friend to make traps and running partial sponsorships so people can get affordable neutering. I, through Cypaws, try to find funding and offer a framework through which this is possible. To date we have supported 72+ cats in february, 58 cats in may and now another 24 with a new partnering clinic. 154 cats have been supported... half of them female... so possible prevention of 300 kittens born to the streets just this summer.

For my birthday I would love nothing more but some support for this. 500 is needed for R&D (Research and Development) to make specialized humane TNR traps, and additional 500 is needed to support the next kitties who need spay/neutering. I am also commited to starting a neutering clinic in Cyprus to serve community cats, so if by some miracle this fundraised goes far over 500... and towards 10,000... we will immediately go to setting up the clinic...

We are working both on drop traps and feral cat traps with the trigger plate.
