Hi, thank you for taking a moment to be here. I am Christina Miller, an advanced leader with Usborne Books & More and I have paired up with Melissa Turner to help her share her story and make a difference in children's lives.
Two years ago, on August 8th, Melissa lost her two year old son, Daniel, and her 12 year old neice, Mackenzie in a tragic car accident. Her heart absolutely broke that day. I can't even imagine the indescribable pain she has endured and still continues to feel.
In honor of the two, Melissa has decided to run a book drive to be able to donate books and cuddle bears to those currently staying at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. The same place her son lost his fight. I admire her strength and huge heart. I hope you can find it in yours to help us with our mission.
By making a small contribution, you will be putting a cuddle bear and a beautiful story book into the hands of a child who needs it.
After we get enough to donate 10 cuddle bears/book sets, Usborne will match 50% of everything we raise! Each set is $25, but every little bit helps!
