I write to many parts of the world voluntarily to aloud the cry of my people. Starvation, lack of shelter, education and clothing, scarcity of good sanitation and medical facilities has become the lifestyle of many people in many rural areas in Zambia.

Economically our country has suffered a great burden. The Southern part of Zambia recently experienced a drought and an outbreak of lethal cattle killing disease, which meant that the Zambian agriculture in Southern province was not just poor but a diminished source of income and food. It is well known that the southerners of Zambia practice Agriculture as their main source of income and food hence for a kind of people that sorely depend on the Agriculture for their livelihood they don’t have food or money to maintain their basic needs.

Children are dying from malnutrition while the old aged starve to death it has become a song sung by many people of Zambia they cry out for help for their loved ones and themselves. This crisis has left many orphaned and many widowed.

It was recently reported in Magoye Village of the district of Mazabuka that parents and their children have resorted to feeding on wild fruits and roots for survival. Orphans, widows and the old aged are starving to death in Magoye and headmen of the area have recently asked FEED THE HUNGRY ZAMBIA to help out with emergency relief food for over 650 households in the area that have suffered a great deal of pain due to the great burden on the agricultural sector.

Children pose to be the greater future of our nations; we need them in order to ensure better lives for all of us someday ahead. Please help us sustain the lives of our children, of our future leaders and our loved ones. It is simply inhuman of us to sit back pretend as though this is not serious. Lets save lives.
