NERO, beautiful, friendly, calm and cuddly black dog from Zeleznik, was in the streets for quite some time already, good with other dogs and perfect with people, in the cold nights he would warm up in a supermarket where employees would keep him when they could. He was hit by car some time ago. His leg healed on it's own, so the funny limp almost is not visible, but in the meantime he developed occasional heavy breathing, and some discharge from his nose.  He is now in a pension where he can be alone, not with other dogs because of the state he is in. Vet tried to cure it with medicaments but it did not work, the lump has opened which you can see in photos. So vet had to do a surgery and cleaned the area affected in his nose by most probably fungus, the sample was sent for biopsy to be safe.
Now after the surgery he is taking therapy that vet now believes would affect that area better. Keep your fingers crossed for Nero to recover, and please help us with his pension and his surgery costs! Thank you so much for helping Nero getting well and staying safe in the pension!
