Loch Low-Minn a scuba diving resort in Athens, TN that is based around a ten acre quarry lake. Our crystal clear waters are home to the ancient and extraordinary paddlefish, among other aquatic wildlife. Our goal is to serve dive-schools, police rescue squads, fire departments, and the entire scuba diving community by providing a safe place for all certified divers to practice their skills and have fun along the way. 

Since coming under new management in the summer of 2014, we have been hard at work improving both our on-site and online amenities. There is still a lot of work left to be done, which is why we are looking for additional funds to achieve our goals sooner. We are small, family owned business, and our current profits do not cover everything we hope to do to create the best scuba diving resort in the south east. We have just learned of a rare and incredible opportunity to improve our resort, but because our season is May through October, we have already invested our previous earnings in other aspects of the business. We don't want to miss out on this chance, and we need your help.

There is currently a 14ft fiberglass shark for sale on the local Facebook Marketplace. Our current shark, affectionately nicknamed "Sharky" by our guests, is in dire need of repairs. This new shark would be a blessing to keep divers entertained while we repair Sharky and create a richer, more exciting environment for our visiting divers.

The asking price of the shark is $800, so we have a goal of a $1,000, which will hopefully cover transportation and installation. The topmost contributor will also get naming rights or the chance to vote for the name in case of a tie (keep it clean, folks). If we raise more or are not able to purchase the new shark in time, all proceeds will be well spent on the restoration of our existing shark, as well as the improvement and addition of other amenities. There is much to be done to make our guests' scuba dreams come true.
