Our brother Richard passed away peacefully on Monday 21 September, after a four-month battle with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

He fought bravely against the odds, and in his final weeks demonstrated extraordinary courage, positivity, humour and strength. He was also known to be rather bossy in his unique Buller way:)

The huge and dedicated support network he had (and the number of Pot Noodles, cards, balloons and bacon sandwiches he received) was testament to a young man who had touched many lives. A talented musician and frontman, he also caused many a heart to go aflutter with his band 'The Trouble With Me'.

Rich will always be remembered for his sharp turn of wit, dry sense of humour, and unfailing loyalty to his friends and family. As we all know, he was very sociable and loved nothing more than a big party. His last wish was I want a huge party and 'crank that f--ker up'.

In his honour, we'd like to request donations for the funeral and the party our 30-year-old brother deserves. We want him to go out all guns blazing with music, retro decor and a personal menu he requested.

Many of you have sent lovely messages asking what you can do to help. We have one big favour to ask: funerals are very expensive and we would appreciate all donations - no matter how large or small.

We kindly request that all funds are provided by Friday 25th September ahead of his funeral/wake on Wednesday 30th September. Every penny that can be spared is massively appreciated. If we end up beating our target, then anything left over will be donated to the cancer specialist ward at Royal Berks Hospital who were so amazing in looking after him.
