Prophet, named because he was a stray that showed up at a church in Homestead, Florida looking for food and help. The congregation fed him but no one was able to take this boy in. Two ladies, Denise Carey-Costa and Temple Boyd offered to donate money towards his vetting if someone would take him in and get him off the streets. You see, Prophet has an injured leg.
Denise and Temple solicited the help of rescues all over Florida but no one has been able to help.
They moved on to their own backup plan and placed Prophet in boarding in south Florida. Boarding is expensive and the bill adds up very quickly, plus Prophet needs a full medical exam and to have his leg checked out. This will cost more than Denise and Temple can afford on their own.
