Help Us Launch ELIXIR!
Aloha everyone — I'm Steve. My wife Natalie and I are the people
behind this project.
Some of you may remember us from a previous chapter of our lives. We used to own Bald Buddha Brewing with some great friends in Springfield, Illinois. That brewery meant a lot to us, and the support we received from that community is something we’ll never forget.
Life took us in a new, exciting direction, and we found ourselves
starting fresh here in Honolulu, Hawaii. Over time, Natalie and I
started working on a new idea that we’re incredibly excited about.
That idea is ELIXIR.
ELIXIR is a small drink stand built around something
simple and fun: tropical drinks that feel a little bit like ordering a potion.
Customers choose their size, their energy
level, and their flavor.
If you want caffeine, you’re getting an ELIXIR.
If you want something refreshing without caffeine, it’s a Refresher.
The drinks lean heavily into tropical flavors like passionfruit
(lilikoi), guava, pineapple, dragon fruit, mango, citrus, and coconut
— bright combinations that fit perfectly with the islands.
Some of the drinks you’ll see on the menu include things like POG
Surge, Island Sun, Dragon Shock, and Mango Storm.
Our goal is to create something colorful, fun, and a little magical
— something that feels different from the typical coffee or energy
drink stop.
Our plan is to open ELIXIR in June, and we’re
working hard right now to make that happen.
Why We’re Crowdfunding
Starting a small business takes a lot of work, but it also takes
resources. This campaign will help us cover the final costs needed to
bring ELIXIR to life — equipment,
signage, supplies, and the many small pieces that turn an idea into a
real place people can walk up to and order from.
This will be our one and only crowdfunding campaign.
Natalie and I believe strongly in building things the right way,
and our long-term plan is to grow two different concepts using this
business model.
Our future concept, STACKED, will be opened using
profits from ELIXIR... not additional crowdfunding.
STACKED will bring Springfield’s most
iconic comfort food — the Horseshoe — to
Hawaii. Many people have thought of opening a Horseshoe stand
somewhere, and we're going to DO IT!
So, supporting this campaign isn’t just helping
open ELIXIR — it’s helping build the
foundation for what comes next as well.
This is one-time opportunity to be part of the beginning.
