.   Years after purchasing my HUD home I found out it was built on a former DUMP. My kids would play in the yard and find pieces of rusted items poking up out of the ground. We still do on occasion. When the alley was changed from dirt to cement; the bulldozers dug up all kinds of items. Years later all my joints began to deform. I have large nodes on fingers, hammer toe, Degerative Joint Disease (DJD), Fibromyalgia and Human Parva B19. HP B19 is a rare virus that very very few adults contract. It is an auto immune disease which causes other diseases. I had my right shoulder replaced in December 2013 and still have months of recovery. Surgeons cut my Rotator Cuff to replace damaged parts.I am on Disability.. My husband works a thankless job in the Sewer Dept. in the next town. He has developed DJD, Gout and spinal stenosis.His checks go to household and medical bills.He is seen by the United Pain Clinic monthly to sustain his narcotic pain meds.My oldest daughter now out of home suffers from Endromesiosis. My youngest (23) suffers from severe joint pain also and will be seeing a Rheumotologist in next couple weeks. One of our dogs suffers from arthritis and struggles to get up and walk. Another dog could not walk one morning at the age of four TWICE. Cause: Unknown That dog; a loveable PItbull and I have had numerous Bladder Infections. I recently changed to an expensive dog food as he was showing allergic tendencies. One of our cats gets weird sores in her ears. Today I found similar large sore under chin. We cannot afford a vet bill right now. I treat with topical antibiotic cream. We love this home. All my kids were raised here. The grandkids love playing in the woods. We're praying by replacing carpets (from 1978) and under layment flooring may help. Carpets are deteriorating where seams are and posing a fall potential. The home is built into a hill in 1978 and 2 x 4 studs in lower level are angling to the west. They were straight  vertically. Could the house be "moving" too? Our driveway is dirt on one side and we would love to cement or asphalt that and landscape to prevent materials from coming up from the ground. Selling isn't an option as needs too much work. Walking away and renting isn't an option-pets. $10,000.00 will just scratch the surface of tearing this house apart and replacing any immediate dangers. God Bless and Thank you.
