I’m a young black woman living on TERF island, aka the UK, trying to survive as an artist in an increasingly fascist and intolerant world.
It’s been a somewhat long journey for me, having begun my transition in 2021, and I feel it’s time to take the next step forward. After a few years on hormones, I realise I need something a little more drastic and permanent in order to feel happy in my body despite the softness the mones have given me. I gotta get my face hammered and chiseled and sanded!
I’d just really love to be able to look in the mirror and not feel sad at what I see. I want to be less of a clocky diva, and to feel far more comfortable doing the day-to-day things that most cis girls take for granted. I want to be able to leave the house whenever I want to and not be paralysed by anxiety.
While it would be ideal to self fund this surgery, due to the prohibitive costs of the process and the incredible difficulty of fundraising myself (I’m a full time artist living paycheck to paycheck), I have to ask you all for help.

£34,800 with facial team (A very trusted establishment with theatres in Barcelona and Marbella)
Other bits:
Flights and travel for me and two carers - £950
Accommodation (2 weeks) - £2500
General medical supplies - £100
Subsistence while abroad - £600
Subsistence while recovering at home (4 weeks) - £500
Any extra money raised or money left over will be held onto and redistributed to the next loved one’s FFS costs..
