The Earth and humanity are in dire need of healing. The truth is, we need Earth more than it needs us and we need human connection more than we'd like to admit. Despite knowing this, we hold no regard to our future livelihood with the damages we are doing to our planet and ourselves. With globalization and digitalization making everything so easy accessible, it is resulting in a decrease in human connection. This connection is a human core need as it has been proven to lower anxiety/depression, regulate our emotions and even improve our immune systems. Then thre's our youth, being exposed to false information, explicit material, idolizing social influencers and heads down in their devices. In these times, it's understandable how screens have become their umbilical cord to the outside world. But, let's say that cord is cut, for whatever the reason may be... are they (and us for that matter) equipped to survive sustainably?

     What can we do to begin fixing this? Good question. Glad you asked. I has become my passion to build an eco-village with the primary intent being a positive impact on the planet and creating a positive change between people and within ourselves.  LIving in a sustainable community amongst shared spaces and duties will result in regenerating social and natural environments.

   Let me back it up a bit...

I was recently gifted with an awakening. It was a moment that unexpectedly hit, allowing me new understandings/perspectives and an awareness of new purpose. I contribute this to the life-changing tragedies my family has experienced this year. Nevertheless, I am left with so much information and ideas stirring about inside me for this new passion. I am so inspired and excited!! The best way I can describe it ...it is like fire in my veins fueling me to make it happen. Which is why I have wasted no time in the research and planning process that is necessary to bring this to fruition. 

Allow me to delve deeper in detail...

I want this to be a community comprised of like-minded individuals with common goals that encompass sustainable living and enriching human connection. Together we can partake on a journey to creating a healthier lifestyle and finding inner peace. I would prefer not to practice a certain religion but instead express and encourage kindness, open-mindedness, acceptance and inclusivity, allowing us to create deeper connections and reach our highest selves. These individuals are encouraged to share their story, talents and skills with others. There will be culture and diversity which is something I, personally, have always wanted for my children. 

PHASE ONE...

• Clean energy installation
• Planting an organic and medicinal herb garden. Ideally, in much abundance to not only provide to our residents but also the homeless. 
• Earthen/ Eco-conscious home construction. This initial phase would require you having your owns means of shelter on the land during the construction process ..such as RV's, Schoolies, tents, etc.
• Construct the bee haven and chicken inn

PHASE TWO...

• Construct a children's play area that encourages creative thinking and creative play. 
• Construct the common area (with kitchen) for shared gatherings.
• Create pathways/trails amongst the property that lead to the various areas, homes, magical meditation spots, hammocks, outdoor yoga , etc.

PHASES TO FOLLOW...

• Construct extension to the main common area to allow for non-residents the enjoyment of a farm to table experience. This space could also host events and speakers willing to share their knowledge of relative topics, as well as, a space to showcase resident/local talents such as music, song, dance, art and classes.
• Construct additional housing ideal for the elderly. Where they can age peacefully, free of worries, financial stressors, etc. A place where they gain self-worth with small given duties based on their physical capabilities, feel valued and most importantly...LOVED. 
•  Construct an area for a Living Tree Memorial. Its' purpose?  To provide people an alternative option to return our loved ones (and/or ourselves when the time comes) back to nature. Of course the tree options would be those that thrive in that region.. even fruit bearing ones...each with its' own memorial plaque  In return, we have a beautifully sacred place to witness the growth of the trees as they rise from the ashes. This is something of great importance to me. My brother was murdered 3/21/2021 and being able to honor him this way and visit his tree... *breathe* be still my heart!

All of the above are the primary ideas. More can be added as needed.  I welcome new ideas and suggestions, so please feel free to contact me.  

• I want this to be a place where one can leave behind the hustle and bustle of life's major stressors and instead, wake with the sun, heal ones' mind/body/soul, rest ones' body as needed, acquire healthy habits, share duties and find meaningful connections. I want people to slowwww dowwwn and enjoy this sweet Earth and what it has to offer. I want you to enjoy time with their children and loved ones while also teaching them, equipping them and inspiring them the importance of a sustainable lifestyle. 
• With the price inflation of the housing market, food, gas, energy sources, etc... it makes suburban life increasingly unsustainable and even unobtainable. It has put so many through financial (and mental) hardships. I'm raising my hand over here...I get it! I want it to be a place that welcomes others from all walks of life... whether one has lived/or always wanted to live intentionally and sustainably to even victims of domestic violence with children, struggling to provide for them. Whomever this community houses, we would all need to be fully invested in cultivating an eco-conscience lifestyle ... all while healing ourselves and the planet too!
• I love animals and I adore my pets. So I want people to bring theirs too!

• Providing resources, suggestions, networking to make the necessary connections to people/business that may want to join and/or invest in the eco-village. Anyone know of an ideal region? Maybe even someone interested in the idea and willing to invest by providing their land?
• Monetary donations are GREATLY needed. I set the funding amount at what may seem high, however, it is an estimation for kickstarting this off. If the land is not provided or donated... then that would be the largest portion of cost. When you donate, you can also subscribe to receive weekly updates and photos to show the progress made possible because of your donation! Supporters are also welcome to visit and witness the progress in person. Location to be determined. Allow us to walk you through the garden to handpick your favorite veggies/fruits and thank you with a farm to table experience! 
• Spread the word. Share, share, share this  .. on your social media accounts, to friends and family that may be interested, share to groups with common interests. Thank you so much!
• Last but not least, I realize the mainstream may not support this idea and that's ok. I know it's not for everyone. However, the intent is to make a huge impact for positive change to our environment and human civilization.
