Here we are at the beginning of the most aggressive treatment for brain cancer, a stem cell transplant with trial drug treatment. We face this time knowing how God has provided for our every single need up to this point, and we know that His power and providence knows no bounds, and will continue on and on and on. We are excited to share our story with everyone. God has been great! Now we continue to reach out, and ask for your generosity as we go twelve weeks with no income as a family of four. I know that all will be well, and in the end that this will be one of the greatest stories I will ever have to tell others. God is good!

At the onset of our battle with lymphoma of the brain we were blessed by many financially. With the upcoming possible trip to Boston we will lose three months of my income, and the school has elected to retract my sick days that I would have earned had I worked those days. So I will have to pay the school system back the money they paid me for my sick leave for Rickie's surgery and recovery. I will also be required to pay the school for the insurance premium while I am out, and not making any money. So we are currently facing a complete loss of Rickie's income, but we will face a three month period where we are making no money at all and yet will have to pay more bills than we normally have to pay in order to keep our insurance going. I know that God owns every penny in the universe and that all of this money can be moved by Him as He sees fit. Please pray that He pours out his blessings on our family. That we lack nothing, that he will give us cups overflowing, and that the only things we are overwhelmed by throughout all of this is how amazing God's blessings, love, and providence are. He is able.

My husband had a brain tumor 4-5 cm in diameter (1.57-1.96 inches). He had brain surgery, rIght temporal lobe cranIotomy, on wednesday oflast week. It was a very successful surgery with no complications. 95% of the tumor was removed. He has since been diagnosed with a very rare form of brain cancer known as B cell Central Nervous System Lymphoma. Our family deeply needs your support through this time of need as we will not have his income for ten weeks or more. Your support will be used to pay for the surgeon, radiology, Doctors visits, and lost wages.
Background: Starting in June the tumor presented as migraines and transformed into vomiting and neurological symptoms by the first week in July. We first went to the neurologist who sent us for a CT scan. Insurance has been a battle every step of the way. The CT scan showed the tumor. It is considered to be too large for radiation and we are awaiting more information. Our greatest need is your financial support as we have two young children to care for.
