Hello everyone. I am writing this with a broken heart and in total desperation.
This is my kitten, Oreo. He is only 7 months old and he is currently fighting for his life in a veterinary clinic (Dr. Vet) here in Brazil.
The Emergency: Oreo is suffering from a severe and life-threatening urinary obstruction. His bladder is dangerously full, and he is in terrible pain. The veterinarians have tried multiple times to unblock his urethra using catheters, but they failed because the tract is completely blocked by blood clots. If he doesn't get help immediately, his bladder will rupture.
The Solution: His absolute only chance of survival is an emergency surgery called Perineal Urethrostomy (PU surgery). This procedure will permanently widen his urethra, stop the blockages, and save his life. The exact cost of this surgery is R$ 2,240 BRL (which is roughly $400 USD).
Why I Need Your Help: Before getting to this critical point, I had already spent all my remaining savings (around R$ 1,800 BRL / $320 USD) on his previous hospitalizations, medications, and the unsuccessful unblocking attempts. I have absolutely nothing left, and I cannot afford this final lifesaving procedure.
I just want him to live and be pain-free. He is so young and has his whole life ahead of him. I am willing to provide all the clinic budgets, veterinary exams, and proof of his condition to anyone who asks.
