Leon Embry is one of the most talented, dependable, and hardworking people I have ever had the privilege to work alongside. Anyone who knows Leon knows that he is the kind of person who shows up without hesitation, gives everything he has to support those around him, and never asks for anything in return.

Recently, Leon experienced an unimaginable tragedy when he suddenly and unexpectedly lost his wife of 26 years, Shirley Embry. After building a life together for more than two decades, Leon is now facing not only overwhelming grief, but also the heartbreaking reality of handling funeral arrangements completely alone.

Leon and Shirley did not have surviving family members to lean on during this difficult time. Without a support system or financial resources available to help cover these unexpected expenses, Leon is left trying to navigate one of the hardest moments of his life on his own.
