Hi! I’m Tays, a Culinary Arts student in Ecuador, currently in my second semester. I’m passionate about cooking and determined to become a professional chef.
To graduate, I must complete four academic field trips across the country. These trips are essential — they’ll allow me to learn firsthand from Ecuador’s diverse culinary traditions. However, they cost around $1,500 USD, and I can’t afford them.
I received a government scholarship (Futuro Femenino) that covers part of my studies, but it does not include these trips. I’m not currently working because my studies require full-time dedication, and my parents can’t financially support these extra costs.
