Maria Del Pilar also called 'Pilita' is a 86 years old grandma who's suffering from the horrible desease of alzheimer's.

It all began a few years ago when she started forgetting little things, such as where she had left her glasses… Gradually those gaps in her memory grew, leaving nothing but pain and confusion in her and her family, her son suffers so much seeing his loved mom’s downfall to dementia, seeing her forget the names of every person she once loved and then not even being able to properly articulate any kind of word or sentence is heartbreaking for her and all her family, in that condition she’s lived in a nursing home for the past three years. During the pandemic her son faced some serious economic difficulties. Also the medicine she takes is really expensive and the fact her son is the only one she has makes it really hard for him to cover all the expenses. You could really help Pilita and her family by helping us reach our fundraising goal because the money we raise is going directly to the nursing home and her son for him to buy her medicine.
