I never thought it would come to this or that we’d ever have to do this but none of us are exempt from the troubles of this evil, wicked world. I am humbly coming before you to ask, and plead out of desperation for assistance for my son and for his defense fund- specifically for additional medical consultation/expertise, and legal counsel for his case. He is being charged with attempted murder,  attempted aggravated murder and two counts of felonious assault . He was in the midst of having a psychological break when the police were called and they subsequently entered his room. Primarily his mental health which was undiagnosed, and untreated at the time of the offense is being criminalized and they are asking for him to be severely punished and sentenced to prison as opposed to getting help! He is being portrayed as a monster and the villan. His presumption of innocence was taken away and they want to criminalize his blackness and mental health and he is in no position to advocate for himself. He is not being seen, heard, or given the benefit of innocence, compassion, nor is his mental health being considered and we know why. They simply want him to suffer even more so after going through his own personal hell and even after finally being officially diagnosed. Additionally, the fear of being killed is already prevalent and real in the black community, imagine that being exacerbated by a mental illness. And just for clarification his hotel room was entered into with out his consent with hands on guns from two officers. He was not in the lobby wilding, or threatening anyone. He was in a state of fear and actually tried to close his door. 

He was also targeted in a civil case by this officer and his spouse. Letters from their attorney were sent to the facility where he is being treated. Are those the actions of help or of antagonism and retaliation? Who does that? They are literally trying to bury him, and would see him dead as opposed to getting him the help that he needs. He is being railroaded and only one side of the narrative has been told publicly. Some things said and supposedly done have not been portrayed factually. 

One(of many) beautiful blessings and positives out of all of this horror is that Cameron is now doing so much better, and is healthier than he has been in years! And we are grateful and very thankful that no one was killed. He now has an official diagnosis and is being treated accordingly.
