This is my brother-in-law Daniel Hayes his life has encountered several ups and downs lately,but things really flipped upside down on 8-31-19 when he was working at home using a grinder and some sparks ignited a fire and he couldn't escape the backroom of his house fast enough! He was rushed to Erlanger and they sent him straight to Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville,Tn. He had to have a 5 hour major skin graph surgery on both of his legs and treatment to the other burns on his hands,neck,and face!! He stayed in the burn unit until 9-12-19. He had infection from the 293 staples he had after surgery and his body seems to be rejecting the pig skin they used on one of his legs. They had an appt. On 9-20-19 and they gave him more antibiotics to treat the infection,and pain medicine also which makes 6 different prescriptions he has to take daily every 8 hrs. He has to go back to Vanderbilt on 10-03-19 and if his body is still rejecting the pig skin he will have to have surgery again using a donor's skin!! He is the provider for his family and has no insurance and unsure of when he can return to his job at Mohawk Industries.. so I am personally asking if you can please help him,my sister and their family through this rough time!! Because even though he is burned and suffering through a hard time,we are blessed that he is still alive by the grace of God!!!!!
