HELP SICKLE CELL TWIN SISTERS WHO NEED TO UNDERGO SURGERY.

Jennie and Angie are twin sisters diagnosed as Sickle Cell (SS) patients at 9 months and are now 24 years old.

They both live with their parents and their two siblings in Southern Nigeria.
Life for them and their parents for these 24 years have not been without pains and challenges. Their parents having spent their fortune including selling out their properties to take care of these Jewels as their father calls them and to see them through College.

Jennie is a graduate of Office and Information Management, and supposed to go for her youth Service (NYSC), while Angie studied medical Laboratory Science and is supposed to go for her internship.

Life has been excruciatingly painful for both of them with frequent Sickle Cell crises resulting in leg ulcers, Gangrenes and Gall Stones. Quality of life has been so poor and has also affected the lives of all the family.

The most current challenge are Skin Ulcers (Veno-Thrombotic Ulcers) on both of them involving joint areas of the tissues at the elbow joints and as a result they cannot stretch their two arms with severe contractures.

The Doctors at Rehoboth Specialist Hospital in Port Harcourt in Nigeria where they have been on admission for 48 days as at this write up (Admitted just before the new year, 2019) says they need surgery to straighten those arms when the ulcer is relatively healed (contracture release surgery).

The estimates for Surgery and sundry bill is the equivalent of US$20,000
