Yes2Chess is seeking your support for: the $100,000 required for production costs of our nationally distributed weekly chess TV show on PBS starring our young players. Our concept of using our enthusiastic young players (on a weekly basis) presenting our audience with valuable chess training secrets, entertaining chess news, mating puzzles, enterprising opening ideas, & regular features from Grandmaster Ron Henley is so dynamic, the programming manager promises to distribute our show nationwide on PBS. The only requirement is obtaining the production costs of $100,000, which seemed difficult, until the station manager insisted such project can be easily achieved through crowdfunding.
Once we're able to film the pilot episode, the rest should be relatively easy!
Please help us support this worthy cause for our players who have worked so hard to win several Florida State & National Championships. On December 6, our Truman Hoang won the National K-9 Grade Chess Championship at Disney World, successfully defending the title he won at the National Junior High K-8 Championship in April at Louisville. While in August, Truman tied for 10th overall alongside adult Grandmasters with the 3rd best result ever by a junior in the US Open at Phoenix!
